Grass Cutting Services

Grass cutting is a full season program. Services begin the week of April 18th and conclude the week of October 24th. Each week we will cut all lawn areas and trim along all edges. All walkways, patios, steps, and the driveway will be power blown of debris. Additionally we offer spring and fall clean ups

Power Seeding

Power seeding is the process by which we go over your lawn with a machine called a slit seeder. This machine has blades that make small slits in the grass and the machine drives grass seed into those slits. Grass seed is applied at the rate of 5 pounds of seed per 1000 square feet of lawn.

Core Aeration

Aeration is the pulling out of many plugs of grass or earth approximately 2 inches long and leaving them on top of the lawn. Core aeration reduces soil compaction, helps breakdown thatch, encourages root growth, reduces water runoff, helps water, air and other nutrients to get to the roots.

Top dressing

The process of spreading purely selected compost solids on top of your lawn. These will break down and provide enhanced soil structure while providing nutrients to the turf and garden.

Subsurface Insect Control

Common examples of subsurface insects are the white grub (European chafer and Japanese beetle) as well as the larvae of the European Crane Fly (leatherjackets). Both are a root feeding insects that feed on your lawn in the spring and fall. Treatments must be applied during the times the insect is feeding.

Surface Insect Control

Common examples of surface insects are Chinch Bugs, Sod Webworm and Cutworms. Surface insects eat at the blades of the grass. Damage will occur during the hot and dry summer months. Treatment needs to be applied during feeding season.
